Barfield Crescent Park

A 430-acre community park located at 697 Veterans Parkway in the southern area of Murfreesboro. Some of the amenities include two playgrounds, walking and jogging trails, a disc golf course, volleyball net, horseshoes and tetherball. Restrooms are located at shelter numbers 2, 5 and 7 and near shelter numbers 3 and 4. Shelter Rentals: 890-5333

Old Fort Park

Old Fort Park is a 50-acre community park located at 1025 Old Fort Pkwy. Facilities include a large picnic shelter and restrooms, bike and tennis rentals, two picnic shelters (one with rest rooms), one small playground near shelter Number One, Kids’ Castle playground, two baseball fields with lights, concession stand, press box and restrooms, volleyball area, large open space with backstop, 20 electrical hookups, Old Fort Park and Fortress Rosecrans greenway trailheads and eight lighted tennis courts with pro shop. McKnight Park

Sports*Com is located at McKnight Park (120 DeJarnette Lane). Amenities include a gymnasium, 1/16 mile track, aerobics area, fitness equipment, game room, meeting room, 25-yard indoor pool and 50-meter outdoor pool, and four sand volleyball courts. Also located in McKnight Park, Star*Plex is a five-field youth/adult baseball/softball complex with concessions and rest room facilities. It includes eight youth/adult athletic fields with concession and restroom facilities and one medium-sized picnic shelter located next to the side parking lot of Sports*Com. Patterson Park Community Center

Patterson Park consists of 10 acres and a 110,000 square foot facility located at 521 Mercury Blvd. Facilities include: Patterson Community Center, an indoor/outdoor multipurpose sports and recreational facility composed of two gymnasiums, 1/8 mile track, aerobics area, fitness equipment, game room, conference center with three meeting rooms and dining room, indoor pool with 25-yard lap area, zero-depth area, play system and triple-loop slide, theater and the M.G.Lloyd Library, a remote extension of Linebaugh Public Library. Park amenities also include a multipurpose field for soccer, flag football and more, two tennis courts, outdoor basketball courts, small and large picnic shelters located by the parking lot and playground. Rogers Park

Rogers Park is a 7.5-acre park located at 1115 Hunt St. The facility includes a picnic shelter with restrooms and picnic tables, an octagon-shaped picnic shelter with tables, two tennis courts, two basketball courts, a walking/jogging track, a playground and an open play field. Siegel Park and Soccer Complex

The community park area at Siegel is located at 515 Cherry Lane. The three picnic shelters and the two smaller shelters are reserved on first-come, first-served basis. The large shelter is available for rental on weekends only and are reserved on first-come, first-served basis Monday through Thursday. Shelter Rentals: 890-5333


Murfreesboro Greenway System

The Murfreesboro Greenway System consists of the Stones River, Lytle Creek and Gateway trails. The Greenways are available for you to enjoy nature hikes, walking, running, bicycling, or in-line skating along the ten miles of riverside trails. Small watercraft access points are also available for paddlers to enjoy the Stones River. The Murfreesboro Greenway System connects historical sites, parks, neighborhoods and businesses; it also serves as a conservation corridor to preserve precious natural and cultural resources. Murfreesboro Bark Park

The Murfreesboro Bark Park is located at 1540 W. College St. Murfreesboro's social center for the 'boro's canine citizens. A great place for dogs to socialize and owners to relax. For directions or rules and regulations, please click here.
